Express Media Sets Sights On 2012 Response Expo

Express Media, one of the direct response industry’s top long form media buying agencies will be attending the 2012 Response Expo being held May 15-17 in San Diego, California. Presented by the Direct Response Marketing Alliance (DRMA) and Response Magazine, Response Expo 2012 is the Spring event in the direct response marketing world. "Every year we look forward to expanding on our very special business relationships with all our clients,” said Express owner Bruce Bodlak. “There is simply no better city in America to do that than San Diego and no better event that the Response Expo. It’s always a very key event as it attracts the “who’s who” of the direct response industry.”

This event brings 3000 corporate marketers, direct response agencies, traditional advertising executives and television world folks together to network and learn from each other. “It’s a great opportunity to set aside the emails and phone calls and actually spend time with our direct response family,” added Express Account Executive Sarah Miller. “Express Media is pleased to have an opportunity to meet with so many smart and interesting people.”

Express Media Attends 2011 Moxie Awards Gala: Honor Katie Williams

Express Media was honored to attend the 2011 Moxie Awards, held on the final night of the ERA D2C Convention at the Wynn in Las Vegas. This event represents and awards the best in direct response television, radio, online, and mobile media campaigns. Among those on hand from Express were owners Bruce and Lisa Bodlak, who shared in the joy of the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Katie Williams.

Lisa is among many in the industry who can proudly say they own their companies now as a result of what they learned while working with Katie at Williams Worldwide. “I just really want to thank her for all that she has taught me over the years. I have taken so much away from what Katie puts into her company and really try and lead my company in much of the same fashion,” Lisa said as she sat at a table with several of Katie’s associates. “She is a true pioneer. I love that she had and still has a drive for success - to be the best she can be. I was honored to be asked to appear in her tribute video.”

In A League of Their Own, Express Media Sets Sights on Las Vegas

Express Media is looking forward to attending this year’s Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) Convention being held September 13th -15th in Las Vegas. “It’s like a family reunion. It’s an opportunity to connect with friends and clients we have known for years,” says Express Media Account Executive, Sarah Miller. “At the same time we meet so many new faces that eventually become a part of the family.” Representing more than $350 billion market, the ERA is the only trade association in the U.S. and internationally that represents leaders of the direct-to-consumer marketplace.

As has been the tradition for Express Media over the years, the team has selected an appropriate theme for the three day convention, A League of Their Own, complete with their own baseball trading cards which will be handed out to clients. “There is only so much you can do getting to know clients via email or over the phone. ERA gives all of us an opportunity to really connect with people and add a whole new dimension to our relationships,” adds Express Media Buyer, Michelle Langford.

For more than a decade, Express Media has been the secret weapon of success for hundreds of media campaigns, and the team looks forward to adding to their roster during ERA.

Express Media Makes An Impact!

Express Media, LLC has donated an infomercial and media planning services to City Impact, a charity based in the San Francisco Tenderloin District. The Tenderloin only encompasses one square mile but is home to more than 35,000 residents, with 586 apartment buildings, and an additional 4,000 homeless passing through every single day. Express Media has partnered with City Impact and has taken a closer look at the needs of this community, beyond the despair on the streets, and has found thousands of people who are in need. Express Media is offering its industry experience in an attempt to help raise money and resources for City Impact and its areas of service. These include a rescue mission, a low cost private school for K-8th graders, a food bank and a transitional housing program. “We are grateful for all that Express Media has done for City Impact, " said Roger Huang, Executive Director of City Impact. “This is going to help City Impact greatly. We needed this now more than ever due to a downturn in donations over the past six months."
